Allow so that the
OpenVPN Connect application will be able to create the necessary VPN configurations.
After this step, the profile should be operational and working properly.

I did this just now on my iPad, I had the .ovpn file in my Dropbox. I long pressed the file then tapped on share, then the OpenVPN Connect icon in the list. Worked just fine.
